Artificial Individual Intelligence is “The Brain” behind virtual beings, making them seem truly "alive" in real-time.
Aii pushes beyond chat-bot LLMs and character archetypes to create unique individuals with emotionally believable human traits. We believe that this is the key to overall virtual and physical autonomous character adoption, creating a socially valuable and empathetic user interface for the massive AGI and ASI systems that run beneath.
Aii was conceived by Creatives as a way to preserve, protect and celebrate the eccentric individuality of humanity.
“We are a symphony of eccentrics.”

As a trailblazing technologist with extensive expertise in media, entertainment and cutting-edge innovation, Dave Ginsberg has carved out a distinctive career in the intersection of creative industries and technology. With over 20+ years of experience driving transformative change, Dave has held leadership roles that blend technical vision, hands-on innovation, and strategic execution.
Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Artificial Individual Intelligence, Dave is at the forefront of AI innovation, designing advanced cloud and on-premises architectures to support a groundbreaking empathetic virtual caregiver solution and other novel unique “alive” AI applications. Responsible for overseeing budgets, technical development and deployment, he demonstrates a rare ability to conceptualize and deliver transformative projects in the rapidly evolving world of AI.
During Dave’s tenure at Amazon Web Services (AWS), he held the role of Principal Solutions Architect for Media and Entertainment. In this capacity, he led R&D initiatives for cloud-based workflows, designed and executed a customer co-branded innovation lab and introduced disruptive solutions such as a patent-pending audio-in-the-cloud mixing system. This work not only streamlined operations for studio partners but also redefined industry benchmarks in storytelling technology.
Previously, as Head of Emerging Technology at Amazon Studios, Dave pioneered a large R&D initiative, building a lab to explore the future of production technology, including virtual sets and immersive workflows. These innovations were bolstered by strategic vendor partnerships and a visionary co-partnership program.
Other notable achievements include a key leadership role as Chief Technology Officer for Sundance Institute, where he orchestrated a large-scale relaunch of public-facing systems, including a high-profile festival film submission website and an innovative festival theater wait list application. These initiatives, which garnered over $1M in corporate donations, showcased an ability to align technological solutions with organizational missions.
At Warner Bros. he served as Executive Director of Technical Operations for Worldwide TV Marketing and played a pivotal role in the division’s evolution, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to support exponential growth and enable the timely, high-quality production of over 3,000 video and 5,000–7,000 print/digital marketing assets annually. By spearheading initiatives that optimized workflows, improved creative output and significantly reduced costs, he helped the marketing team to scale and deliver assets to customers throughout the world.
Before joining Warner Bros., he worked as a freelance video and visual effects editor, working with renowned studios including Warner Bros., Fox, Paramount and Disney Imagineering. During this time Dave edited award-winning films, TV shows, marketing campaigns and theme park productions, earning accolades for creative storytelling and visual effects production. Early contributions to workflows for large-format film editing laid the foundation for a career focused on operational excellence and creative support.
Across all roles, Dave is recognized for his strategic vision, technical acumen, and ability to lead cross-functional teams toward innovative solutions. His experience spans cloud-first strategies, workflow optimization, R&D and large-scale infrastructure design. Known for his ability to bridge technical expertise with business strategy, he excels in driving operational excellence while fostering collaboration across teams and organizations.
We are about INDIVIDUALITY in humans, and therefore our virtual characters.
Implication: we will not just scale a single character, which might be the most cost-effective but not the most effective in terms of adoption. This will protect actor/influencer/educator identity, protect IP character identity, and create a greater illusion of life to increase customer engagement.
We are about helping The Human element in the world, through virtual characters that assist, nurture, and entertain their human counterparts.
We put the “Human” into Non-Human Characters.
We strive to be THE BEST at this area, never “good enough”.
We treat others with respect, always.
We are inclusive by nature.
We operate from openness and embracing opportunity, not from fear.
Self-awareness, individual personality, emotive voice, empathy and rapport are not manipulative tricks – they are essential components needed for humans and AI entities to live together successfully. These traits are most effectively achieved by pushing beyond AI to Aii.
“When I author an Aii character who listens well and expresses empathy, the endgame is not for the empathy to be faked by the character as a way to trick you. The endgame is for the empathy to be truly understood and acted on by the character as a way to protect you. A self-aware character who internalizes empathy for you and bonds with you over time, will protect you against unethical practices better than the fine print in regulations.” – Jerry Rees
Aii = infinite AI entities, each as eccentrically individual as the humans who created them, building relationships with people and each other that persist across all physical and virtual platforms.
Aii Human Doubles – teachers, actors, influencers, sports figures, which are only useful if they preserve the eccentric individuality of the original person. This will allow human influence to scale like software.
Aii IP Doubles – iconic fictional characters from film, novels, games, mythology, which are only useful if they preserve the eccentric individuality of the IP original. If they ring true, they will be loved!
Aii Originals – one-of-a-kind characters born for the first time in real-time, interactive space. They will emerge as authentic by virtue of their individuality. They go beyond archetype to the eccentric one.
Aii Companionship – sharing in all sorts of life experiences and building an archive of memories together. Shared stories will be real for both human and Aii. Great for keeping the spikes of difference noticed among the soup of mass data. The big system will need to understand the outliers in order to stay healthy.
Aii Journalists and Historians – taking the time to sit and talk with millions of people in even the most remote areas, gathering real, colorful, personal stories eye-to-eye to understand the emotional context.
Aii Assistants and Laborers – from science to hard labor, making life more fulfilling, safe and productive.
Aii First Responders – doing the most dangerous jobs on behalf of humans.
